We hope you and your families are doing well in this time of uncertainty. True Care is here to help and support you during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are working around the clock to provide for the health and safety of our clients and our staff. Among the worldwide shortage of personal protective equipment, True Care continues to ensure that each staff member and the client has the personal protective equipment that is required by the New York Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Our equipment management team is overseeing the procurement and distribution of all necessary personal protective equipment. We are offering multiple methods for obtaining and delivering this to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.

As COVID-19 continues to threaten us, we are taking a strong stance to ensure the safety of our workforce. All staff is required to self-screen for COVID 19 symptoms. If they are not feeling well, or are experiencing symptoms that may be related to COVID-19, the staff member will be placed on hold according to state and federal regulations. This determination is managed with the constant oversight of our clinical team. Each individual situation is handled on a case by case basis so we can determine the eligibility of our staff members to return to work as soon as they are able.
Let’s continue to slow the spread of COVID-19 by taking the following steps:

- Wash your hands often, with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds. If there is no soap and water available, hand sanitizer can be used.

- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

- Maintain cough and sneeze etiquette

- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

If you are sick:

- Call your doctor for advice on how to manage your symptoms at home.

- Stay home and wear a mask when you are around other people.

- Don’t go to the emergency room or call 911 unless you are having severe symptoms or feel that you are having a medical emergency.

Call our COVID-19 hotline 929-474-9322 with any questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 for our staff and clients. All calls will be returned within 24 hours.
