Qualifying Clients
Must be eligible for Medicaid
Must have an ongoing
medical condition
Must require assistance with
activities of daily living
Must be able to self-direct care
or appoint someone to do so
Qualifying Caregivers
Can be a sibling, child, parent* or
other close family member or friend
Cannot be a spouse
Must be legally allowed
to work in the U.S.
Must be able to administer regular
skilled and custodial services
