Our caregivers are essential to us, and looking out for their well-being is paramount. For this reason, we implore you to care for yourself as much as you care for our clients. Each year, on November 13th, we take the time to show our great appreciation for the dedicated caregivers that form part of our True Care family. While we believe every day should be Caregiver Appreciation Day, it is so special to have that one day a year where we can truly appreciate and salute the heroes in our homes. November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month. To spread the word, we want to help clarify the difference between the terms “Alzheimer’s disease” and “dementia.” I hear a lot of confusion between these words, but there’s a simple distinction.
